
Dr. Tope Mitchell
Dr. Tope Mitchell is a sociologist, technology executive, award-winning entrepreneur, business professor, and strategist advancing innovation, economic development, and inclusive growth. She is the Director of Technology & Entrepreneurship at Invest Atlanta, leading efforts to attract, retain, and grow technology companies, and as Executive Director of the Women's Entrepreneurship Initiative (WEI), the nation's only municipally funded accelerator for women founders. She also represents Invest Atlanta in collaboration with the City of Atlanta's Office of Technology and Innovation.
Dr. Mitchell is the CEO and co-founder of Reflekt Me, a VC-backed retail technology company helping brands increase engagement and conversion through inclusive personalization. Previously, she taught entrepreneurship at Fayetteville State University, conducted qualitative and quantitative research supporting the U.S. Department of Defense and the CDC at Fors Marsh and advised Fortune 500 companies at Mintel, Kantar Futures, and Three Group. She holds a PhD and Master's in Sociology from Indiana University Bloomington and is driven by a mission to humanize digital experiences, so every consumer feels seen, valued, and represented.
